Our association
Welcome to your home, to your community, to your family!
The reception and integration of new arrivals are among the essential concerns forFUCA Ontario. One of the major challenges during and after this welcome lies in our ability to assist any newcomer from Fulani communities around the world. By our benevolence based on excellent communication(Ko sadhi my ko tooli my), we are motivated by the desire to bring help to those who feel the need.
This is why you will find volunteers who will put in place adequate conditions to guide you towards more appropriate structures for your dignified installation in one of the cities of the Province.
Once you have been referred to organizations dedicated to newcomers,FUCA-Ontariomay contact you to inquire about the progress of your settlement process, such as your immigration applications,
Refugees and Citizenship Canada.FUCA-Ontariocould also invite you to participate in its various community activities during which various information on the life of the Province and the city of
Toronto in particular could be divided. In short, you will never feel alone.

Historical
Foulani Cultural Association of Ontario (FUCA-Ontario) was born from the concerted
dynamic members of the Canadian community of Fulani origin from all walks of life, to
provide an organization whose mission is to work to improve the well-being and
the development of its members, through the strengthening of the bonds of fraternity of
different Fulani communities living in Ontario, community mutual aid as well as
support for integration into the host society.

Knowing of the difficulties encountered by newcomers on foreign soil to
have themselves overcome the many obstacles related to their insertion in Canada, and driven by
duty of contribution and sharing, the Founding Members of FUCA were keen to put
benefit from their rich experience in the service of the community.

Thus, following a constituent GA in 2010, the first Council
of Directors composed of Mr. Sanoussi Bah as Chairman, Ms. Aminata Barry as Vice-
presidency, Mr. Alimou Bah at the treasury and Mr. Hady Diallo at the secretariat was born.

Since then, FUCA-Ontario has been able to bring together and unite, in particular, Fulani people from Guinea,
Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Sierra Leone and continues to expand in its quest for
solidarity, promotion and enhancement of Fulani culture.

Always focused on fraternity, it is in a spirit of camaraderie, professionalism
and respect for differences and gender, based on values of sharing, humanism and
of altruism, that the members of FUCA-Ontario assist, support and comfort each other.

FUCA-Ontario is more than just an Association, it's a family where the weather is good
find your own!
This was the vision of the founding members and the reason for its creation.
